Adele - “Hello” (Marshmello Remix)

~Zumi Underground

Most of you have heard “Hello” by now from the very talented Adele, but have you heard it like this? This is a really cool EDM remix (I wanna say future bass with some house drops, but I honestly don’t really get that nitty gritty with subgenres).

I like the way Marshmello eases into the EDM. If you hear the first 10 seconds and immediately jump to a random section in the middle, you’d be like ‘wtf?’. And then he cools back down at the end. I love dynamic songs like this where you can go from 1 to 10 and back to 1 so seamlessly.

Dope drops. Great bass hits. Obviously amazing vocals from Adele. This is just such a fun song from something that was originally…pretty depressing. But that’s the beauty of music. You put a fun bounce with these vocals and it completely changes the mood of the song to sounding like something more hopeful. Like the singer is the one moving on or something. Or maybe that’s just my naïve ass. Either way, hope you enjoyed!
